What is SC 888 Visa?

The Subclass 888 allows Subclass 188 visa holders to apply for permanent residency and to continue their business activities in Australia.

You must have a realistic commitment to continuing your business and investment activities in Australia and not have been involved in any activities that are unacceptable in Australia. This visa has the following streams:

Business Innovation Stream

This stream is for people who hold a Subclass 188 (Business Innovation and Investment Visa) in the Business Innovation Stream. Some of the criteria include:

Own and manage a business in Australia
Have an annual business turnover of at least $A300,000
Meet certain asset and employee requirements
Meet a residence requirement.

Investor Stream

This stream is for people who hold a Subclass 188 (Business Innovation and Investment Visa) in the Investor Stream. Some of the criteria include:

Have held your investment for 4 years
Meet a residence requirement.

Significant Investor Stream

This stream is for people who hold a Subclass 188 (Business Innovation and Investment Visa) in the Significant Investor Stream. Some of the criteria include:

Have held your complying investment for 4 years
Meet a resident requirement.

Premium Investor Stream
